Everyone likes a fantasy come alive right? Well, Caesars’ Palace is your utopic dream come true. It’s a luxury hotel and casino located on the beautiful Las Vegas Strip. The hotel is situated on the west side of the Las Vegas strip between Bellagio and The Mirage.

History

It was founded in 1966 by Jay Sarno and Stanley Mallin. They created a masterpiece facility that showed guests what it was like to live in the era of the Roman Empire. To showcase the resonating Roman theme that the hotel is famous for, it contains a lot of Roman ornamentation and architectural elements, from nickel statues of Roman gods and goddesses to the fantastic fountains in front.

A magnanimous 20 feet statue of Julius Caesar hailing a taxi is positioned in the driveway, welcoming guests as they arrive. Also, near the entrance is a beautiful four-faced statue of a deity’s shrine known as Brahma.

Rooms

Caesar’s Palace is currently owned by Vici Properties and operated by Caesar’s Entertainment. The hotel has 3,960 rooms and suites in six towers, most of which have been revamped and are in top-notch condition. Some of the towers include:

  • Julius’ Tower: it’s a paradox. It’s the oldest part of the building since it was the first to be built. However, it’s also the newest since it was just recently renovated. The rooms here are pretty small and will be perfect for just a couple on a getaway.
  • Forum Tower: It was the next tower to be built and has larger rooms than Julius Tower.
  • Nobu Tower: It was previously called the Centurion tower. The view is not to die for, as it places comfort over grand views. But you are not totally losing out as you get state-of-the-art bathrooms, comfortable leather settees, and rich wooden furnishings.
  • Octavius Tower: It also has excellent pool views but limited strip views. It’s located behind the Augustus Towers.
  • Palace Tower: As the name implies, it has huge rooms and fantastic views. The Garden of the Gods and Caesars pool are visible and very accessible from this tower. This Tower is recommended for pool-lovers
  • Augustus Tower: It’s the most premium tower in the resort. It has really stunning views with an incredible interior design and finish level. Needless to say, the rooms are costly but worth every cent paid.

Shows and Attractions

There is never an end to the roller coaster of music, movie, and magic shows in the legendary Colosseum at Caesars Palace as concert-goers enjoy performances from amazing artists like Rod Stewart, Keith Urban, Chris Rock and Adele.

A trip to Caesars Palace is not complete without seeing Absinthe. It’s a show that is undoubtedly one of the best in Vegas. That is if you are into raunchy comedy. You get a one-on-one feel as the furthest seat is just 11 rows from the stage.

The Garden of the Gods complex is also a must-see. It stretches across 5 acres; the breathtaking pool provides a medium of relaxation and enjoyment. Bowing to the Brahma shrine, touching Cleopatra’s breast, and rubbing the hand of Caesar’s statue are also rumored to bring good luck, which makes it a hotspot for young couples.

Restaurants

Caesar’s Palace has fifteen restaurants, each of which is unique. However, if you are left with the option of choosing just two or three, let Bacchanal buffet and Gordon Ramsey’s Hell Kitchen be on your hit list.

A scoop of the Italian frozen dessert, popularly known as gelato at the buffet, is bound to melt even the stoniest heart. Just kidding, no one’s heart is melting, though. But just in case you need to unwind on a sunny Sunday, gelato is a perfect choice.

Nightlife

The highlight of Caesars Palace is the nightclubs and the shopping forum. OMNIA nightclub is better than your average nightclub. It has a multi-level venue that embraces a high-energy main room, a mezzanine, and a spectacular rooftop garden. The club was voted “Best New Night club” in Vegas Magazine Awards 2015.

Shopping

The sky is just the beginning for the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. It’s the highest-grossing mall in the United States and includes approximately 160 specialty stores; world-class designers like Versace, Giorgio Armani, and Gucci can be found there. Amidst shopping and splurging, remember to peek at the life-sized replica of Michelangelo’s David statue.
